Caring for the Caregiver: Building Resilience While Raising a Child With Special Needs.

Parenting a child with special needs is a journey filled with unique joys, challenges, and opportunities for growth. This workshop is designed to support caregivers by providing practical strategies to build resilience while caring for both their children and themselves. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of child development across different developmental stages and how conditions such as ADHD and Autism may present at various ages.

In addition to educational content, this workshop will feature opportunities for parents to share their personal experiences, connect with one another, and receive encouragement in a supportive environment. We will also hear from older adolescents and adults living with ADHD and autism, who will reflect on their childhood experiences, discuss the challenges they faced, and share how they have grown, adapted, and thrived.
